This is Charlotte Cooper’s story and as a caveat the author isn’t done with her story by the end of this book.

There’s a lot going on here, the story opens with her flashing back to when she first met Andrew at the age of eighteen and how they met and several other relationships. The author takes us through Charlotte’s dating past as well as her childhood past, both of which has abuse, including rape. This book may be inappropriate and upsetting for sensitive readers. The story felt like it meandered around and often lost its momentum.

This book was an okay read for me, the story didn’t hold my attention well and I really wanted the story to be over by the end, only to find out the story was to be continued.
